I received a Keurig B60 special edition maker for Christmas, but it is too tall to open when under my cabinets, so I went out and got this Mr. Coffee unit after reading good reviews for the most part. It makes good coffee, but my wife said what is all the water underneath the unit on the counter. I looked and the overflow tray was full and overflowing onto the counter. I cleaned it up and it happened again, so I started testing to see what was happening. It turns out that if you are not VERY CAREFUL pouring the water into the top of the unit, some gets outside the blue rim and it goes down through the unit to the overflow tray, Also there is a gap around the top where more water can go down into the unit. Before you know it the tray is overflowing and onto the counter! This was after only a few cups made. The design for the filler is terribly poor. You need to be very careful filling it to keep water from outside the rim. Make it a game of hitting the bullseye. I hate this, because this was one of the only makers to be able to keep under the cabinets and still open. Dont call me sloppy, because I used a measuring cup with a spout to get it in unit, but really, you need a funnel to be sure you dont end up continually dumping the overflow tray. I am returning the unit, and keeping the Keurig unit. Only tried it a few times, but like it so far. With a redesign of the Mr. Coffee filler would make it a good unit.

My husband had been wanting the actual Keurig (cuz they have it at his workplace and he's in love with it), i went to the store and when i noiced their high prices for Keurig, i decided to get him the Mr. Coffee Keurig, thinking it would be the same thing. He tried it out but complained that the coffee wasn't HOT enough and that mainly he needed it for the long road trips to his work. I didn't believe him, so i brewed a cup for myself, but came to the same conclusion, it was not as hot as i would have preferred.

Portion size is only one size and very small, anything above the limit line falls straight into the bottom for you to pour out.

Someone on here said to someone else about complain about it only brewing ONE CUP at a time and that the item description is clearly "Single Serve", but other coffee makers can accept water as much as 12 cups but serve a single cup (with varying cup sizes). This one only accepts one cup of water.

We returned it.

I will probably get him the original Keurig that he wanted.

I bought this product for my Son who is a freshman in college.He wanted this for his apartment.My parents came for Christmas so we used it during there stay to try it out.They are big coffee drinkers.They loved the ease of using the coffee pot and singles and they loved the coffee.The price point of Mr.Coffee is almost half of a regular Keurig Coffee pot.For a college student this is perfect.I think the gift was a hit.
